Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Short version: this website sets no cookies at all, and loads nothing from any third party. There is no banner to click because there is nothing to consent to.

1. What we set

Nothing. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting, no pixels. We verified this on the live site on 11 September 2026: the browser is asked to store zero items and the server sends no Set-Cookie header on any page.

2. Why there is no cookie banner

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, as implemented in Austria by section 165 of the Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021), consent is required before storing information on, or reading information from, a visitor's device, unless that storage is strictly necessary to provide a service the visitor asked for. We store nothing at all, so the obligation is never triggered.

A banner that asked for consent we do not need would be theatre, and we would rather show you this page instead.

3. Third party requests

Loading a file from another company's server reveals your IP address and browser details to that company, whether or not a cookie is involved. We therefore keep the page free of them.

  • Fonts are self hosted. Until 11 September 2026 our typeface was loaded from Google's font CDN, which disclosed every visitor's IP address to Google. We removed that and now serve the font from our own domain. Nothing is requested from Google anywhere on this site.
  • No analytics. We run no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, no heatmaps and no session recording.
  • No embedded video, maps or social widgets. Our LinkedIn and Instagram links are ordinary links. Nothing from those platforms loads or runs until you choose to click.
  • Booking happens off site. The audit booking is a link to Cal.com, which opens in a new tab. No Cal.com code runs on this website, so nothing reaches them unless you click.

4. What still leaves a trace, and why

Two things are unavoidable and neither involves storing anything on your device.

  • Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the page and to protect it from attack. This is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, described in our privacy notice.
  • Email tracking, only if you ask for the report. If you submit the calculator, the report email carries standard open and click tracking through Brevo, so we can confirm the report actually arrived. That is disclosed at the point of the form and covered in the privacy notice. It has nothing to do with this website.

5. If this changes

If we ever add analytics or any third party script, we will ask for your consent before it loads, through a real consent mechanism with a genuine reject option, and we will update this page and the date at the top first.
